Brk Out Price
The intraday high which set the pivot point. We allow the pivot to be up to 3% above the left side of the cup.
Brk Out Vol
Minimum Break Out Volume (150% of 50 day average volume). Minimum Break Out Volume is the minimum volume necessary at the end of the trading session on the day the price breaks above the pivot to qualify as a proper breakout. If monitoring the stock intraday, the volume can be extrapolated. For example, if the stock price breaks above the pivot price after 1/4 of the day's trading session is over, then the volume at that point needs only exceed 1/4 the Minimum Break Out Volume. If the price breaks above the pivot price and the volume is not sufficient, the stock should not be bought until both the Break Out Price and the extrapolated Break Out Volume are simultaneously exceeded.

Chart Quality (CQ)
This is a proprietary estimate of chart quality. In general, high accumulation in the right side of the cup when combined with low down-day volume in the handle will generate a higher score, although there is no absolute upper limit. Charts with a negative CQ are not shown. You can learn more about how we measure CQ here. Stocks are listed in order of chart quality.
