 Weekly Commentary  
My eldest boy was playing in a soccer competition today so little time to prepare a market commentary. While the kids are out of school there always seems to be a distraction.

I note that First Quarter GDP was revised downwards as consumer spending was less than previously thought providing further evidence that this a very weak recovery with the risk of a double-dip increasing.

The so called "reform" of the financial system leaves much to be desired. Here's an assessment from Barry Ritholz
